The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) and The Smith Family are proud to have presented the Parent Engagement Conference Australia, held on 6-8 June 2017 in Melbourne, Victoria. Supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, the conference brought together over 600 delegates, speakers, and presenters, discussing research, policy and practice, to advance discussion about the importance of parent engagement. The aim of the conference has been to Maximise Every Child’s Potential, with a focus on ways to increase the effectiveness of parent engagement strategies through relationships and capacity building.
Join the Parent Engagement Network
The goal of the Parent Engagement Network is to nurture better understanding and promotion of parent engagement with the aim of embedding the concept and its practice in schools across Australia. Core functions of the Network are to share information, to promote parent engagement, to build partnerships, and to provide expert consultation to the Parent Engagement Project.
